I can’t really give you specific business since I do not know what you and your wife are into or the location that you reside. It is very important that when putting up a business, analyze first if you have enough knowledge and skills about it. The business location also plays a vital part, if your place is near schools and business establishments, I recommend to put up computer shop or eatery. But if your place is not “matao” homebase business is not gonna actually work.

As for homebase businesses, like I’ve said on my blog, enroll yourself in livelihood seminars in your community they normaly organized seminars during summer, you will learn a lot from it. You can try T-Shirt Printing, Birthday or Wedding Souvenirs, Basket Making, Meat Processing, Loading Stations, Merienda, Eatery, there are actually a lot. Those businesses are for all season.

You can also venture in franchising business. I wrote a blog about franchise that costs not more than 300k like food kiosk, best location for that is near schools or LRT/MRT stations (P900.00 per day). The key to franchising is to pick the best location.
