“To qualify, the business concept demonstrate that it can generate profit, has a social return and will protect the environment. Businesses that demonstrate ability to produce these triple bottom lines will be selected.”
PLDT and PBSP chair Manny Pangilinan says, “beyond the capital, finding investors for these innovative businesses will create greater impact. PBSP is committed to matching finalists and winners with investors in the Philippines and Europe as we have done in the pst two years.”
10 winners will be picked to receive start up capital that will support their innovative and social friendly businesses.
Submission of entries is now on going and will last until August 30, 2009 only. You may submit your entry at www.bidnetwork.org/philippines.

For 16 years, Philippine Franchising Association annually organized conference and expo to widely introduce franchising in the country. This year, they are inviting everyone to attend and learn all about franchising in the 17th Philippine International Franchise Conference and Expo.
Businessman from local and abroad will attend the said event and will share their knowledge and expertise in Franchising. The PIFCE conference is a much awaited event in the country because of the effective topics and expo that they impart yearly.
This year, they aim to introduce more large and small scalebusiness franchise that people from classess A-D can avail. They will introduce local and overseas owned franchise and will teach methods on how to manage it.

Jewelry isn’t just for flair and glamor nowadays, it can be your secret to success.
The Golden Treasure Skills and Development organized a seminar and lecture program that will teach participants how to earn money on jewelry making.
The seminar will be held on June 27, 2009 at the College of Social Work and Community Development, Magsaysay Avenue corner Ylanan St., University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City.
The jewelry making is actually very cheap and easy to create. The jewelries will be made out of nylons, beads, crystals, stones and other indigenous materials. there will be a hands on training on how to string up beads and tie up colors to make bracelets, earrings, necklaces, anklets and other accessories.
The organizers will give certificate of attendance to all participants. All materials needed will be provided. Lunch and snacks will also be served free.
