WorkAbroad.ph and Marikina City Offers Local and Overseas Jobs

WorkAbroad.ph in cooperation with the City Government of Marikina and the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) are inviting all jobseekers to attend the “Mega Job Fair 2009” on November 27, 2009 at the Marikina Sports Park, Sta. Elena, Marikina City.

 

Thousands of jobs will be offered to all attendees such as call center agents, nurses, administrative positions, waiters, cooks, housekeepers, engineers and lot more.

 

WorkAbroad.ph brand manager Rhea Suiza said that this event will also help the typhoon victims of Ondoy who loss their livelihood and jobs to stand up and start a new career.

 

“The Mega Job Fair 2009 will also be a venue not only for jobseekers but also to the victims of the recent typhoon here in Marikina to start a new life by getting a new job either here or abroad,” Suiza said.

 

The 1-day recruitment activity will be attended by direct hire companies and local and overseas recruitment agencies

accredited by Philippine Overseas Employment Administration.

 

Moreover, the government of Marikina is encouraging families with unemployed members to apply through their “Two Jobs Per Family Program” which aims to give jobs to 2 members of the family.

 

Suiza then cleared that the Mega Job Fair is open to all jobseekers in and outside Marikina.

 

“Jobseekers from different cities or in any regions are encouraged to apply. Through the help of PESO, as much as possible, we want to give jobs to all jobseekers from any regions,” Suiza added.

 

The job event is open to all jobseekers 18 years old and above who is either high school, college undergraduate or graduate. All jobseekers are asked to prepare their most recent and comprehensive bio-data or resume

with 2×2 picture attached or scanned.
